| Details: | SUMMARY: Three of four repeat samples collected on 8-4-06 tested positive E.Coli DETAILS: 8-8-06 - The only sample that was E.Coli negative was the source sample, leading us to believe that the problem must reside in the storage tanks and the distribution system. Lee has already shock chlorinated the system. The chlorine was allowed to sit over night at 50 ppm and then the system was entirely flushed. Special samples will now be submitted to determine the effectiveness of the chlorination.. Public notice has been posted. 8-10-06 - Per Nielson Labs, four special samples were collected all of which tested negative for total coliform. ACTION NEEDED: Two routine samples should be submitted and pass to lift the public notice. Five routine samples need to be submitted in the month of September. | ||
