| Details: | SUMMARY: Total coliform violation-water system chlorinating DETAILS: The system began continuous chlorination at Well 2 on 9/14. Well 2 pumps directly to the elevated storage tank and is the only well in use at this time. Well 3 was in use when the violation occurred and showed coliforms present so it has been shut off for disinfection and flushing. The new steel tank has been batch chlorinated at a low residual. Public notification has been done on the radio. ACTION NEEDED: Public notification to be mailed to customers. 5 Routine samples to be taken in October. | ||
