Details:	Eddy Montgomery of Whistlers Bend contacted Civil West to request a tracer study to verify contact time for their CT calculations. 8-6-19 – Jared met with Eddy on site for a site visit and to discuss their system and the proposed tracer study. Jared collected data and relevant information, and Eddy was going to send additional system information via email required for the methodology and calculations. After reviewing the collected data, and speaking with Jay Macpherson from OHA, it was determined that Whistler’s Bend does not require a tracer study. The volume of water (496 gal), calculated in the length of PVC piping from the treatment system to 1st user, under the current operational parameters for temperature, pH, and residual chlorine, at a peak flow rate of 9gpm, meets their disinfection requirements. The calculated contact time for plug-flow for 496 gallons at 9 gpm is 55.1 minutes.
