| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert for Positive TCR DETAILS: I ha a phone message from Bruce Moore, Plant Manager on 8-18-06 - the piping and faucets in the office have been replaced and repeat samples were submitted to lab on 8-18-06. The 8/19 repeat sample was positive o TCR and an 8-22-06 and 8-23-06 repeat sample were also positive for TCR. Two routine samples were submitted on 8-31-06 and both were positive for TCR. I talked to Mr. Moore on 9-6-06 and to Tom Charbonneau on 9-6-06. I called Mr. Moore back on 9-7-06 - Tom suggested chlorinating the office lines and testing at the wellhead to see if the source water is okay. Tom said to discontinue testing from the swivel faucets in the office and to install a sample tap for the office if one is not already available. ACTION NEEDED: Signs are still posted to not use the water. The office lines will be chlorinated over the weekend when the plan is down and repeat samples will be pulled W/B 9-11-2006. | ||
