| Details: | SUMMARY: Sample Taken 9-12-2006 positive TC DETAILS: Spoke to Jeff. Hes not sure of the cause of the positive TC> He is having a water service company come up tomorrow and help him disinfect the well. He wants to go ahead and do that before taking the repeats. He knows he needs 4 repeats. I asked him to call me if any are positive, otherwise reminded him to take 5 routines in October. I asked him if he plans to continue using the chlorinator, he say yes. I mentioned that he should aim for a higher residual, 0.2 to 1 ppm (he currently running at about 0.1 ppm). He mentioned possible installation of a filter. I told him that would require plan review and to call me if he decides he wants to do it. ACTION NEEDED: Will continue to monitor. Need to tell him he needs raw water coliform samples if he continues to chlorinate. | ||
