Details: | Geoff Wells at the City of Sumpter water treatment plant requested he needed help with calibrating the Bach turbidimeter and CL17 chlorine analyzer and ensuring they are functioning correctly. He also is needing help with other water system related deficiencies and priorities. 10/17/19 – William Goss at OHA sent Civil West Engineering an email request for assistance at the City of Sumpter water system. 10/21/19 – Marlin Gochnour at Civil West sent an email to HECO Engineers requesting that we reach out to Geoff Wells (Water System Operator) for assistance with his questions and concerns. 10/23/19 – HECO Engineering staff, Robert Almanza and Bret Turner, called Geoff for determining his most immediate needs for the water system. From the phone conversation, it was determined the system’s highest priority was the need for calibrating the Hach turbidimeter and CL17 chlorine analyzer and ensuring they are both functioning correctly. Geoff mentioned that William Goss would be available on 10/25/19 to make a site trip at the water treatment plant to further discuss his questions and concerns. Geoff also mentioned a Hach representative would be at the site the following week to calibrate the Hach instruments. 10/23/19 – Robert Almanza emailed Geoff the City of Sumpter’s Water System Survey and Letter from OHA to Jeff McKinney on 12/11/17. The email also included a document that listed the water system priorities based on the OHA letter and survey. 10/24/19 – Marlin with Civil West called HECO for a conference call with Robert and Bret. The call was regarding the City of Sumpter’s water system deficiencies and priorities. Marlin suggested the general support effort be completed and additional support effort may be needed. |
