| Details: | SUMMARY: Mr. William Jonhson called about muddy drinking water (503) 661-8046 DETAILS: Mr Johnson said he called Rockwood PUD around 10 AM on 10-09 and told them the water coming from his tap is muddy. He was told by Rockwood PUD that there was a mater main break. He contacted DWP around 3:38 PM. Mr Johnson said no one came out or called him back. He wanted to know if the water was safe to drink. ACTION NEEDED: I discussed situation with Tom Charbonneau. Tom contacted the WS. The WS confirmed that there was a water main break and they were flushing the water at the hyrdrant. Since the break was small they didnt think a notice was required. The WS installed a sample tap across the street from Mr Williams due previous questions about water quality. Tom contacted Mr. Williams and explained the situation. | ||
