Details:	The City of Powers is having problems with their control system at the Water Treatment Plant. The SCADA computer runs on Windows XP which has long been discontinued as support. The Plant PLC used in the plant was end-of life’d last year. In order to further evaluate options as part of a focused planning effort, Civil West needed to help the City submit a SIPP funding application to OHA. Civil West worked with the City to procure the information needed to complete the SIPP application. A draft was submitted to OHA which was then refined to make sure that all applicable information was included. Upon award of funds, the City will work to procure an Engineer to perform the focused planning effort. A SIPP application has been prepared along with this report and it has been provided to all parties associated with the submittal.
