| Details: | SUMMARY: Plans to filter GWUDI dug well DETAILS: Joe called and said that his first raw water coliform sample for the GWUDI testing came out Fecal +. Rather than go through the expense of the MPAs, he wants to move forward with plans for filtration. He is looking into slow sand and cartridge filtration. Due to limited space inside the building and freezing potential outside, he is leaning towards cartridge filtration. He has a supplier helping him with a possible Strainrite set-up. He also mentioned Cuno, but I told him that a system has not yet been approved for Crypto removal. He will send in plans prior to construction, whatever they end up doing. He has talked to the operator at Nehalem (Harmsco system), and I gave him the number for Rhododendron (Strainrite system). ACTION NEEDED: Await plans (possibly next spring). | ||
