| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive routine Coliform sample collected on 10-10-2006 DETAILS: 10-12-2006- I called and left a message for Galen asking him to call me back and let me know what is going on. Galen called back and notified me that he ahs done four repeat samples. Three passed and one failed. The Barn Faucet (site of initial positive) passed this time but 2927 Old Stage Lower failed. He did not realize it at the time but after talking to Neilson, he thinks that this tap likely failed because it has an anti-siphon device on it. Additionally, Jacksonville pump will be installing a sample tap the well next week. I asked Galen to collect a special sample directly of the well when the new sample tap is installed and to collect five routine samples in November, 2006. I have sent Galen a public notice template to provide to the residents as a result of the MCL violation. ACTION NEEDED: Five routine samples need to be submitted in the month of November and public notice needs to be posted within 30 days. | ||
