| Details: | SUMMARY: total coliform positive routine sample and 2 positive repeat samples. DETAILS: I received one alert for a total coliform positive routine sample taken on 9/16/06, one for a total coliform positive repeat sample taken on 9/21/06, and one for a total coliform positive repeat sample taken on 10/13/06. I exchanged messages with Jim until 10/9/06 when we spoke. Jim said the pump guy they use told him to shock the system with 1/4 cup of chlorine crystals, so he did. I informed Jim that he was supposed to take 4 repeats and will need to take 5 routines the following month, but he said he would take at least 1 more sample to make sure the coliform was gone. After receiving the 10/13/06 alert, I told Jim it appeared all the samples were taken from the same tap and I advised taking a sample from other locations. | ||
