| Details: | SUMMARY: OERS Incident # 2006-3174 DETAILS: On 12/13/06 I received a phone call from Christie Holmgren, Duty Officer in Public Health Preparedness. Christie had earlier been notified by OERS about a sewage discharge that occurred on 12/12/2006 at 11:30 PM. The City of Monroe reported that raw sewage by-passed a lift station and flowed into some lagoons. Sewage then entered the Long Tom River at approximately 13000 GPH. The cause was due to heavy rains. On 12/13/2006 I called Brian Rigwood City of Corvallis and informed him of the incident. Brian had not yet heard of the spill but would speak with his work crew. Brian will monitor chemical dosages carefully to see if demand increases. | ||
