| Details: | SUMMARY: Return to Compliance Following Lead Exceedance in 8/2005. DETAILS: See contact report 1/30/2006 for history. After further communication with Diane Stockton and Chris Hughes with the DWP, it was decided that due to the long time span between the original lead exceedance in 8/2005 and the re-sample results collected 2/7/2006, replacement of the original sampling round was not an option. Instead, the 2/2006 results along with a second 6-month round would be used to determine whether or not additional water quality parameter and source lead/copper sampling would be required with public education. I received the 2nd 6-month round of sample results collected 12/7/2006 which show acceptable results. Therefore, no further follow-up is necessary at this time. Sampling resumes at a frequency of every 3 years from 5 sample locations, which puts the next round of samples due between June and September of 2009. ACTION NEEDED: I notified Beth Murray of the receipt of the December sample results as well as the every 3-year sampling frequency via telephone on 12/18/2006. | ||
