Details:	SUMMARY: Received request from Wickiup WD for assistance with equipment recommendations. DETAILS: The system owns and operates two water treatment plants to treat surface water which supply water to approximately 620 connections with a population of approximately 1702 people. WTP A is a slow sand filter plant rated for 100 gpm. WTP B is a package treatment plant with coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and rapid sand filtration rated for 150 gpm. The plant was designed for 175 gpm however the maximum output is 150 gpm due to the poor water quality produced at 175 gpm. Both Plants have post hypo chlorination. Received assistance request from Daryl Gardner, operator for the Wickiup Water District. The existing meter at WTP A following the clearwell does not display instantaneous flow rates. A meter that can display the instantaneous flow rate from the clearwell is needed to perform a TC Study for WTP A. ACTION PERFORMED – Complete research to identify the proper equipment for the needed application. Submitted report with recommendation to district. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time on this issue. Once a flow meter is installed and the maximum flow rate for WTP A can be determined a CT Study will need to be done for WTP A.
