Details: | SUMMARY: Reconnaissance in preparation for Tracer Study DETAILS: Recommendation by ODHS DWP to do a tracer study. Discussion with Regional Sanitarian as to Theoretical Contact Time based on onsite evaluation of System. Investigated system layout, found two services previously unidentified and evaluated possible impact to contact time. I discussed the potential situation with the City. The services lines are several hundred feet long so we decided to gather some residual chlorine samples as background information. Operators were requested to begin sampling at the proposed sample sites to establish available residuals under normal operating conditions. I discussed my findings with Karen Kelley regarding the two service connections immediately down stream of the wells and the explanation of the service lines leading to the residences. Karen indicated that after some discussion with the department geologist, she would evaluate the situation and inform both the City and the Circuit Rider Program on how to proceed ACTION NEEDED: Maintain open communication with the City as to progress towards preparations required for the CT Tracer study of follow up action required by DWP. |
