| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed status of environmental review and EID DETAILS: Following inquiries from both the City and OECDD regarding the status of the EID and our readiness to proceed with the project, I spoke by phone to Mike at CH2MHill. The main draft EID was received by the DWP in June 2006, but it was not yet complete. Three main items were still needed: 1) Biological Assessment, 2) Wetlands/Rare Plants/Terrestrial Wildlife Report, and HEC UAS floodplain modeling. No impacts in these areas are anticipated, but we need them to be a part of the EID for proper review and issuance of a determination. Some changes in the EID were needed, so the EID is likely to be submitted to the DWP in mid-January 2007. The project may only proceed once the initial determination is made, the 30 day comment period is honored, and a final determination results. ACTION NEEDED: The DWP will review the EID asap after receipt and issue an initial determination asap, as well as provide technical assistance as needed on requirements and public notification process. | ||
