| Details: | SUMMARY: Plan review assistance DETAILS: BACKGROUND: Plans for Storage and chlorination were submitted PR205-2005. Tom Charbonneau reviewed and responded in a letter 9.12.05 with a list of items requesting more information and construction requirements. To date no action has been taken. ACTIONS PERFORMED: I reviewed the plan review process with Mr Reitz and explained baffling factor designations for storage tanks and how to size booster pumps based on effective tank capacity ad pump output. I obtained the plans and the 9.12.05 letter and reviewed them to determine recommendations for Mr Reitz to complete the installation. Since the system has no flow or usage records, I researched water system flow demands based on engineering design factors to base my recommendations. I also discussed the proposed plans with Mr Charbonneau and what he will accept as a minimum booster pump capacity -25 gpm- based on the 2500 gallon tank and three pressure tanks. I prepared a report with explanations and recommendations and sent it to Mr Reitz to assist in installation. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
