| Details: | SUMMARY: Contact Tracer study DETAILS: BACKGROUND: The district has been operating at new clearwell levels and needs to establish times at these new elevated storage levels. ACTIONS PERFORMED: Met with the operator for a brief tour of the facility and discussion of the plant processes. Initial concentration leaving the plant at 27 ppd chlorine at 1500 gpm yeilds a chlorine residual of 1.498 mgl. The plant Rotometer is topped out at 50 lbs day giving is a target Boost of approximately 2.87 for an expected C 10 of 1.13 mgl. Test began 1300 and at 1338 we noted 1.47 mgl or C10. ACTION NEEDED: The completed report will follow after the holidays. Additional flowrates have been requested by the District for study. | ||
