| Details: | SUMMARY: DBP Samples Not Representative of Water Being Served. DETAILS: Water samples were collected at the outlet of the Park Wellfield contact chamber in anticipation of using these sources this coming summer. These wells had not been used for over a year, and chlorinated water had been standing stagnant in the contact chember all that time. The water samples do not represent the water quality in the distribution system. I advised Myra to flush the contact chember before using these sources for the drinking water system. Myra said this has typically been done in the past by running the parks sprinkler system. ACTION NEEDED: none. | ||
