| Details: | SUMMARY: One of two routine samples collected on 12/27/06 tested positive for Total Coliform. DETAILS: 01/02/06- I spoke with Preston. He shocked the entire system at 200 ppm on 01/01 and rechecked on 01/02 to verify adequate contact time (the system was still at 200 ppm on 01/02). He then flushed the system, verified that chlorine was absent and re-sampled at the well and the kitchen sink. I instructed him, for future reference, to wait five days after shocking to resample. 01/03/06- The well passed and the kitchen sink failed. See the next alert for more details.
