| Details: | SUMMARY: Tier-2 PN. Will issue per Tom Charbonneau DETAILS: Terry Rust called in follow-up to discussions on 11/20/06 with Tom Charbonneau regarding issuing a tier-2 public notice after the system they purchase from (City of Salem) had their chlorinator shut down for about .5 hour on Nov 5. He said their system did not go below 0.2 mg/L on the chlorine residual level and they did two coliform samples which were negative. He wondered if they still needed to do a tier-2. I phoned Tom Charbonneau about this and he said it was required because there was no way to know that potentially contaminated water did not reach the City of Turners system. I informed Terry and he said they would write up the NP and send it out. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
