| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform on repeat sample DETAILS: Was to take 4 repeat samples following the positive sample taken 11/30. Only 1 resample was taken on 12/7/06. This sample was also positive. Instructed Mr. Scott that 4 repeats must be taken today-- one at the positive site, one at the well, one upstream, and one downstream from the positive sample. Mr. Scott feels they have isolated the problem at the site. They do have two empty units and he feels that on the last maintenance of the system they could have pulled standing water from those units. Will disinfect well and resample. Must issue public notice within the next 30 days. Faxed material on coliforms for further reference. Fax no. 503-691-8452. ACTION NEEDED: Take resamples today, must evaluate system to find the cause of positive samples. | ||
