| Details: | DETAILS: Stanley called to say that he had received a notification from Water Lab of a positive coliform sample last week and was calling the DWP to ...be sure we knew about it. I asked for the date of the sample but he didnt have it in front of him. I told him that we should have received a fax notification from Water Lab and he should have received a follow-up call. He said he knew that but hadnt received a call which is why he was calling now. I reminded him that the rule requires notification within 24 hours so that an appropriate action can be taken. He acknowledged that and said that the 4 repeat samples had already been taken. I advised that even if the resamples are negative, hell still need to take 5 routines next month. He said he understands. I subsequently checked with Roberta to see whether we had a fax notification from Water Lab. She reviewed the notices for December and said there wasnt one. I advised Joe Carlson of that fact insofar as weve had trouble with Water Lab complying with the direct lab reporting requirement. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
