| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample collected 3/12/2007. DETAILS: I contact Pat Burris today regarding an alert for a total coliform positive routine sample collected 3/12/2007. Pat had not been informed by the lab or resident who collected the sample. Pat will assure the 4 repeats are collected asap and 5 routines during the month of April. Chlorine residual of 0.5 mg/L was present during the sample collection and Pat believes the positive result may have been from sample collection errors. In addition, we discussed the continuing problems with meeting the turbidity MCL. Pat has been working on replacing the filter media and NTU levels have been dropping. He is still working with Ray Doan (DRC) and Bob Strassner at HBH. He believes they will meet the MCL in March. He will keep me informed of the coliform situation as well as the continued improvements made to the system. Public notice was issued according to Pat for the previous SWTR violations. ACTION NEEDED: Watch for repeat sample results. Conduct WTP inspection in the next few months to document improvements and/or informal/formal compliance schedule. | ||
