| Details: | SUMMARY: Cross Connection Enabling Authority DETAILS: I prepared the usual Cross Connection information packet with an introduction to the Enabling Authority presentation including the OARs and the Plumbing Code. The meeting was held at the Langlois WD office. Attended was Dave Terrusa, Carol Hart, a board member, representing the Old Sheep Ranch WS and me. Langlois has two Back-Flow devices that are certified annually, located at the Langlois School. Records of the certification of the devices are available for the previous two years at the Water District Office. Dave indicates the school has had the devices certified past the date required by the ASR, a circumstance which he has addressed with a letter to the new superintendent for the 2006 ASR. Dave is interested in the training to become certified as a Back Flow Cross Connection Inspector. In addition to the information available on the DWP web site, I reminded Dave that Chuck Commiskey of the Coos-Bay-North Bend Water Board would be a good source for any and all information regarding the subject.
