| Details: | SUMMARY: Contact re. new quarterly nitrate sampling schedule DETAILS: I contacted Heath Cokeley and informed him that the state drinking water program has set new quarterly schedules for water systems with NO3 levels over 5 mg/l. The NO3 sampling schedule for EP-A has been increased to quarterly sampling due to the action level sample results for NO3 during the 2001-2002 and the 2005-2006 sampling periods. The new quarterly NO3 sampling schedule for EP-A starts 1/1/07. The schedule was not changed for EP-B because it is reliably and consistently below the MCL. ACTION NEEDED: Begin taking quarterly NO3 samples from EP-A on 1/1/07. | ||
