| Details: | SUMMARY: Sewage Release into Cow Creek DETAILS: At approximately 4:30 pm, OERS called the DWP to report a sewage release at 125 SE 82 Dr. in Clackamas (OERS Incident #2007-0661). The sewage flowed into Cow Creek which flows into the Clackamas River. The City of Lake Oswegos intake is downstream from the point at which Cow Creek flows into the Clackamas River. Clackamas County Environmental Services reported the release to OERS (county contact: Andrew Swanson, 503-793-4570 cell). I called Kari Duncan at the Lake Oswego Municipal Water System. She was already aware of the release and said that the exact amount of release is unknown, but according to Swanson it appears to be a small amount of sewage. Lake Oswego disinfects, so this should not have any impact on their finished water quality. ACTION NEEDED: None. | ||
