| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat samples taken 4/04 total coliform-positive DETAILS: Two out of 3 repeat samples were total coliform positive. System has been providing bottled water for customers. The well is flowing artesian with 40 psi at the wellhead, so flushing chlorine solution through the system is difficult. A sample will be taken directly from the spigot on the wellhead and the system will be checked for potential cross connections. ACTION NEEDED: Water system to sample directly at well head, continue to serve bottled water for drinking, and follow public notification procedures. | ||
