| Details: | SUMMARY: Turbidity MCL exceedence for April 2007 DETAILS: Ray Pardee called to inform me that due to using the Lyang Creek WTP as the only source of water since the Row River WTP went offline (see contact report from 4/2/2007), the City has exceeded the turbidity MCL of 95% of readings less than 0.3NTU. Ray reported that approximately 10 recent readings exceeded 0.3NTU with the highest reading at 0.7NTU. They began feeding a non-ionic polymer (N300 Superfloc) as a filter aid this week. Since the polymer addition, turbidity levels are back in compliance at less than 0.3NTU. As a result, a Tier 2 public notice is needed for the month of April. I faxed the public notice template to Ray today. He will try to get the required language added to their monthly billing postcard and will send a copy to me. ACTION NEEDED: Await copy of public notice. | ||
