| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat positive coliform sample on 11/06/06 DETAILS: On 11/07/06 I spoke to Ann Batten (water operator) and Denis Jarvis (technical assistant) regarding repeat positive coliform samples collected on 11/06/06. We discussed sample collection and potential contamination sources. Denix will be shock chlorinating the system and the reservoir. He is putting out a coliform notice for the residents today. We suspect the problem might have been from the previous reservoir sample that was positive and now is moving down the distribution system to the residents. He will retest after the chlorination. He is also aware about the five routine samples that will need to be taken the next calendar month. He will call me once he receives the results. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat samples and follow up. | ||
