| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate exceeded 50 percent of MCL DETAILS: 30 Jan 2007: Attempted contact by phone. Left message.31 Jan 2007: I spoke with Dave Krahmer who is the operator of this system. I informed him of the alert that nitrate test results exceeded 50 percent of MCL and asked if there was a problem with the filtering system. Mr. Krahmer said he is maintaining the nitrate filtering system and before he installed it nitrates exceeded 10 ppm. I asked if there were pregnant women/children using system and he said not at this time and that he may close the camp in the future anyway. ACTION NEEDED: No action needed at this time since MCL not exceeded, this is a transient non-community system and a filtering system is in place. | ||
