| Details: | SUMMARY: Funding application assistance DETAILS: Previously provided assistance to the North Hill Water Corporation in Umatilla County (just north of Hermiston). The corporation operates 2 wells that service 27 lots. Recently, the wells have developed capacity issues, with run times as low as 12 hours. Previous DWP Circuit Rider work was done with this water system to add chlorine due to coliform hits. The most recent work provided by the DWP Circuit Rider (in summer 2006) was the estimation of cost for major upgrades to the water system, including a new well, water mains, meters, and storage tank.The Oregon Economic and Community Development Department contacted the DWP Circuit Rider, at the request of Sylvia Bush with North Hill, to provide assistance with application for funding. Reviewed funding application as provided by OECDD. Assisted Sylvia Bush with application. ACTION NEEDED: Provide further assistance with completion of funding application. | ||
