| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: The Hood River County Health Department received an alert by email on Thursday April 5, 2007 @ 5:12 p.m. for the USFS Wyeth Campground in response to a positive result for a routine coliform sample. On April 6th phone messages were exchanged to acknowledge the Tier 2 violation and identify the subsequent monitoring, reporting, and public notification requirements to ensure requirements to ensure compliance. ACTION NEEDED: The Hood River County Health Department will continue to work with the USFS Wyeth Campground to assure repeat samples are collected until results are negative for coliform. Additionally, assistance will be provided to facilitate public notification of the Tier 2 violation. Reminders will be provided to assure that 5 routine samples are collected in the subsequent month (i.e. May 2007) and that all monitoring results are submitted to the Department for entry into the SDWIS database. | ||
