| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine positive coliform sample on 01/02/07 DETAILS: On 01/03/07 I spoke to Denis Jarvis (technical assistant) regarding routine positive coliform samples collected on 01/02/07. We discussed sample collection and potential contamination sources. Denis believes the source of the coliform might be a small leak that he suspects to be in the upline from the well to the reservoir. He has hired an excavator to replace the portion of pipe where the suspect leak is. He will shock chlorinate after the repair is completed and take repeat samples. He will call me once he receives the results of the repeats. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat samples and follow up. | ||
