| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert response for nitrate greater than half the MCL DETAILS: I called Steve to discuss this alert. In 2004, they were supposed to sample quarterly, but only the first two quarters were done. Need to sample quarterly to evaluate seasonal fluctuations. If no quarter exceeds 10.0 mg/l, then testing schedule will be reduced back to annually, with the test taken in the quarter with the highest level. ACTION NEEDED: County to submit monitoring schedule change. System needs to test for nitrate for three more calendar quarters beginning with the April-June quarter. This report faxed to Steve. | ||
