Details: | SUMMARY: This CWS was referred to the Circuit Rider program for assistance with the development of an Emergency Response Plan DETAILS: This CWS serves a combination RV and mobile home park with 90 connections and a population of approximately 175. Water is supplied by two wells, and there are four small pressure tanks on the system. When the operator contacted Deschutes County with questions about how to do an Emergency Response Plan (ERP), he was referred to the Circuit Rider program.Contacted Dale Sievert, park manager and certified operator of this system. Discussed the purpose and minimum requirements of the ERP. Made appointment to meet and work on the ERP. Gave Sievert an assignment to assemble a list of firms and phone numbers that should be in the plan (i.e. plumber, electrical, backhoe operator, etc.). Prepared an introduction and outline for the ERP.Met with Sievert at the system. Conducted a Security Assessment and Hazard Review of the system. Worked on the ERP based on the most likely events to occur: 1) fecal coliform contamination, 2) a broken water line, and 3) a power outage. Completed and printed the ERP. ACTION NEEDED: Sievert needs to contact the Deschutes County sanitarian to let him know that his system now has an ERP. |
