| Details: | SUMMARY: corroded pipes technical assistance DETAILS: Jean called me because the schools pipes are corroding, they were planning on replacing them, and the lab sent her to me with questions about what they should sample to figure out whats corroding the pipes. I told her their Lead and Copper samples have been fine, she said theyve been following proper sampling procedures, but the water could be high in other non-health regulated constituents such as TDS - sodium, iron, etc., so she could test for them if shed like. I reminded her to disinfect the system after installing new piping and told her Casey Lyon would send her more information on disinfecting procedures next week. ACTION NEEDED: Casey will send distribution disinfection procedures to Jean. | ||
