| Details: | SUMMARY: Regulatory assistance- CCR DETAILS: Recd call from operator Thom regarding writing his CCR and his concern about monitoring/reporting violations on Jan. 07, Dec. 06, and Oct. 06. Thom asked about language in CCR to avoid additional violation for CCR content. All 3 mon/reporting violations are a result of direction from me based on the history and current coliform situation. System had ongoing coliform issues from 8/06 and had been taking 4 repeats and 5 routines as required. I advised that no all repeats and/or additional routines were necessary since we were already aware of ongoing problem. The priority was to find and solve the bacteria problem and additional sampling was not needed. Therefore, I waived some of the follow-up samples for coliform as they would have been moot. The coliform problem has since been solved. Thom read me the language in CCR describing the coliform and reporting violations and it sounded adequate to me. ACTION NEEDED: Submit completed CCR, continue routine sampling. | ||
