| Details: | SUMMARY: Illness complaint investigation DETAILS: On May 23, 2007, we received a call from a renter on this system complaining of potential waterborne illness. Bob called Butch Rodgers to see if he is aware of any problems with the water. He said that they just sampled it Tuesday, and results were good. He did say, however, that the well pump is failing and reservoir is low. He reminded us also that the system is chlorinated. We called the complainant. She said that she and her two children have been suffering from diarrhea and vomiting for several days. She believes it is caused by the drinking water. She is not aware of anyone else of the system being sick. She did say that she has seen a doctor but could not say if there was any diagnosis. She also complained about the calcium buildup on fixtures and bad taste of water. She also complained about the lid of the septic tank being crushed. On May 24, we called the complainant back to let her know that the water sample this week was good, and the water is chlorinated. She thanked us for following up. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
