| Details: | SUMMARY: General system assistance related to coliform positives DETAILS: Circuit rider was contacted by Keith Cochran (operator) regarding assisting the City of Antelope with the investigation and elimination of positive coliform hits throughout the water system. The City of Antelope provides water to approximately 50 persons through 35 connections. The water system consists of one well, a storage reservoir, and a small-diameter distribution system. The city also has access and rights to several small springs that are currently not providing water to the system. In addition to the positive coliform hits, the City of Antelope struggles with water quantity during summer months. Prior to circuit rider visit, operator fell ill. Visited City of Antelope and performed inspection of well, springs, and reservoir. Met with Mayor. Provided some general guidance and comments regarding operation of the system. Reviewing existing system information to further determine system needs. ACTION NEEDED: Provide summary report and basic recommendations for eliminating coliform positives. | ||
