| Details: | SUMMARY: total coliform positive DETAILS: Judy Southwell called to notifiy DHS of a total coliform positve result they received on 6/5/07, the sample was taken 6/4/07. I asked her if she knew of any sampling errors or reasons that might cause a positive result, she stated that her husband Bob took the sample and possibly bumped it against a bush and a drop of water could have entered the sample bottle. Judy contacted every user on the water system on 6/5/07 and notified them of the positive result. I told her to immediately take 4 repeat samples to determine next step. She stated that her husband was at work and unable to take the repeat samples today. Due to the situation and close proximity to our springfield office, I visited the site and collected the 4 samples required. ACTION NEEDED: await results of repeat samples. | ||
