| Details: | SUMMARY: 4 positive total coliform repeats DETAILS: I received notice from Analytical Lab, and later an alert, that the 4 repeat samples that Casey Lyon took on 6/6/07 were present for total coliform. The samples were taken at the routine location, the well head (upstream), and 2 downstream homes. I spoke with Judy Southwell on 6/7/07. She thought the coliform could be from new pigs near the well. Judy and I discussed shock chlorination procedures and public notice and I e-mailed her a copy of the unresolved TCR public notice template, the coliform health effects fact sheet, and the disinfecting a well fact sheet. Judy said they may hire someone to do the disinfection, so I directed her to pump companies in the yellow pages. I also reminded her to take 5 routine samples in July. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the 5 routine samples. | ||
