| Details: | SUMMARY: The operator will collect a special coliform sample on 1/12 or 1/15 DETAILS: The operator states the nitrate collected 1/9/07 was 1.9 mg/dl. This is less than the average of the nitrate samples collected annually since 2000--some samples collected in Dec. and Jan. Paul plans to collect a special coliform sample on 1/12 or 1/15 to check the most recent disinfection. He is requesting permission to use continuous chlorination as a temporary measure to disinfect. Per my phone conversation with Karen Kelley this is OK with the DWP. Paul has done some research on the sewer lines- some were installed in the 1970s. He continues to gather information. ACTION NEEDED: Tech assistance from county/DWP/circuit rider to ensure system is providing adequate contact time with continuous chlorination. | ||
