| Details: | Steve Starner notified DWS that some of their routine bacteria sampling sites are temporarily unavailable due to COVID-19 pandemic. I explained to him that during an emergency or pandemic, we still expect water suppliers to take bacteria samples. If usual locations are unavailable, please locate alternate sampling sites that are still representative of the distribution system and keep in mind the potential for repeat sampling if necessary. If there are not enough sites already designated, consider first doing a special sample at a new site just to make sure it’s okay. Also, to notify DWS regulator when using alternate sampling locations. | ||
