| Details: | SUMMARY: Operator will collect five routines this month DETAILS: Operator reports that a "special" coliform sample taken from the well on 1/12/07 after last disinfection (1/3/07) was "absent" for total coliform and E. coli. I told the operator to take five routine samples this month, preferably soon. I told him the boil water advisory is in place and cant be rescinded until there are five routine samples absent for E. coli/fecals. The operator asked about installing continuous chlorination for disinfection. John Potts, circuit rider, should be able to do a tracer study next week. I told the operator I would discuss with Karen Kelley and let him know if there will be requirements, such as raw water testing, if continuous chlorination is allowed. ACTION NEEDED: n/a | ||
