Details: | SUMMARY: CWS referred for assistance developing and adopting enabling authority for XC control program DETAILS: CWS serves a mobile home park with 80 service connections and a population of approximately 160. Domestic water is supplied by a single well. According to Mr. Bell there are no cross connections in the park and no testable backflow prevention devices in the system. However, there is also no written enabling authority for the system. I called Mr. Bell to discuss the cross connection control program for this CWS and the requirement for written EA. After a lengthy discussion, Bell accepted the offer of assistance for the EA, so I made an appointment to meet with him and modified the document to fit the needs of this system. Also, printed a draft cover letter for him to submit with the copy of the EA. When I arrived at the park, I learned that Mr. Bell had been called away, so I left the draft EA and cover letter with the manager of the RV park also owned by Bell. Also left a CD with the EA and cover letter on it in case he needed to make any changes before submitting. Mr. Bell has already submitted the annual summary report for 2006. I later called to make sure that Mr. Bell had received the information and to see if he had any questions. He had, and he did not. ACTION NEEDED: Mr. Bell needs to submit a copy of the adopted enabling authority document to the DWP. |
