| Details: | SUMMARY: Inspected new Well #6 L79883 and new steel reservoir. DETAILS: We inspected the new Well #6 L79883, Plan Review 270-2005. The well is located in a vault but the soil is sandy and surface run-off drains away from the vault. The sample tap is not adequate for good sampling procedures since there is no provision to flush the line into a drain and the location makes it difficult to use. The well is used seasonally, June 15-October 30. We also inspected the new 200,000 gallon reservoir, Plan Review 282-2006. The new reservoir is located adjacent to the old 100,.000 gallon reservoir which is leaking slightly I note that bottled water provided by the company is actually used for drinking water at the facilities, and employees dont drink the tap water because the bottled water is preferred due to taste. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to final both of these projects. Company to provide documentation of bottled water supplier for DWP file records. | ||
