Details: | SUMMARY: Cross connection enabling authority DETAILS: HBH Consulting Engineers Inc., representing the ODHS-DWP circuit rider program, received a call from Mr. Scott on behalf of Phyllis Jacobson of the Western Wagon Village MHP. The park was in need of assistance in complying with the cross connection ordinance requiring an enabling authority for the park. I put together the typical packet of information for enabling authority presentations and discussed at length the instructions with Mr. Scott. George is the manager of the RV Park of Portland and very familiar with the process of certification of backflow devices and the annual summary report requirement. I mailed the information to Mr. Scott, confident he would convey all the necessary information to Mrs. Jacobson and follow up on the completion of the certification. I received a call from Dewey, the cross connection specialist for the Oregon Drinking Water Program, stating Mrs. Jacobson is out of compliance. I called Mrs. Jacobson-- she has not received the information from Mr. Scott as yet. She will try to make contact with him as well. ACTION NEEDED: I have been unable to contact Mr. Scott over a two message week. |
