| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate alert DETAILS: 4/17/07- received email alert from Thomas Peterson from the DHS / Drinking Water Program regarding a nitrate sample of 8.1 mg/L for EP-D, wells 5 and 6. I contacted the operator by telephone and was told they were already aware of the alert. I then asked if they were still taking quarterly nitrate samples from EP-D, wells 5 and 6 and they answered yes. I then informed operator to continue quarterly monitoring for EP-D, wells 5 and 6. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to take quarterly samples from EP-D, wells 5 and 6. | ||
