| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample DETAILS: I received an alert for a positive total coliform routine sample taken on 7/2/07. I spoke with Pat Swearinger on 7/3/07 who said the chlorine pump broke, but she added chlorine to the storage tank based on a calculation Karen Kelley provided for them in the past. Pat said Dan Reitz with OR Water Services would be visiting soon to repair the pump. Pat also informed me that they had installed a filtration system late last year. We were not aware of this, but I spoke with Dan Reitz on who installed it, and he said he would send the plans to Tom Charbonneau. Dan also said he would be taking the repeat samples and repairing the chlorine pump. The chlorine is not being recorded daily, so I told Pat that this would be a critical time to monitor it. I told Pat I would visit the system once we received the plans. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the repeat samples and plan review. | ||
